The Ark Bible Chapel is a community church affiliated with Mennonite Church USA

"The Ark" was founded in 1963 as an outreach of Oley Valley Mennonite Church.

Our name implies our desire to be a place of salvation and shelter for anyone (like Noah's Ark) and a place where God's presence is welcomed and felt (like the Ark of the Covenant)

If you don't have a home church, we welcome you to come and see if "The Ark" is right for you.

MISSION STATEMENT

As members of the Ark Bible Chapel, we agree together to focus our efforts on:

1.                 WORSHIP AND PRAYER: 

To provide a place for worship and to plan for meaningful worship and prayer, inviting and expecting the presence of God.

2.                 MAKING DISCIPLES:

To help one another follow Jesus in all of life and to actively invite others to join us on this journey

3.                 PEACEMAKING: 

To practice love, welcome, and forgiveness rather than judgment; to encourage emotional health and healthy relationships; and to work for peace and justice at all levels of our influence.

4.                 SHARING: 

To share material, emotional, and spiritual resources in the congregation, the community, and the world.

And to conform all our efforts to the will of God as revealed in Christ and in the Bible.
